Pardon? What did u say? "Looks old"? It IS old, and it IS outdated, but those of us who lived through the 80īs mostly hanging around Arcades instead of books know this game DID set new limits.
One if the first Weapon-Power-Up features for example, 8-direction scrolling background, perfect 2-player feature or wonderfuly designed endbosses (well, at least for 1987). Too many coins went into that machine...
And who of us old hags does not remember the boneshattering alarm sound when time was running out and the space station was about to explode... EEEEK!!!
