Blazing Star
Now here is another TOP shooter
for the Neo Geo MVS system. Great enemy formations and ideas, giant endbosses and
really nice sound make this shooter one of the best. If u like shooters... BUY IT!
(Not so) Bad side: Some(!) slowdowns
and a very tough difficulty level.
What i enjoy most in this shooter is the unique style of play depending on what ship u choose and what u want to accomplish. If u want to try to get as far as u can with one credit u wont take the "Sword" (i guess). But as this game features a shoot-down-combo-system that - if done correctly - gives u loads of points, u may try to break highscores instead of marathoning through the game. Then the "Sword" is THE ship 4 u. GREAT game... dont know why some say its not so good...
Slowdowns are not badder than on other MVS carts (watch Metal Slug 2 for example...THAT are slowdowns). As i said...great game.
