First in a trilogy of "Chase" games (Chase HQ, Special Crime Investigations and Super Chase), Chase H.Q. is one of the best games Taito produced that time. You are a Police duo hunting Criminals with ur Porsche all over the country. To get hold of them u have to ram their car till it breaks down (see damage-meter left on screenshot below).
A "radar" screen shows the distance between u and ur target and to help u beat the timelimit u got 3 extra turbos to boost ur speed.

The whole game is very dynamic, full of action and the good sound/sfx adds to the already tense gameplay. I loved the game when it came out and i still do.
Its successor SCI (Special Crime Investigations) got more possibilities (like firing ur gun outta the carwindow or powerups) but its not as good as Chase HQ.
Steering Controlls, gas/brake, up/down gearshift  needed.
Also came out on Sega Saturn console as a special edition (US and Jap only) featuring both Chase HQ and SCI. Good conversion!
