Second part of the Parodius shooter series from Konami this game features more colors and more action than part one (although part one also rocks). Multiple (and also upgradeable) weapons as well as very twisted enemies and themes make u smile and the soundtrack is honey for ur ears.
Also u can choose from multiple ships (about 8) all with different weapons.
Fantastic Journey into the shooter realms. One of my favorites (well as most of the Konmai sidescrolling shooters to be honest).
As the pictures below are taken from emulator please imagine the enemy shots, as they are somewhat missing here... dont think its that easy.
