Who doesnt know this oldie? Collect all gold and exit
to the next level. Sounds easy? Well then imagine homing monsters that kill on touch, or
steal some of the gold, brickwalls which hide gold, digable brickwalls, undigable
brickwalls, timelimit aso.
Still sounds easy?
ITS NOT!
U carry a diggun, which lets u explode neighbouring bricks (see middle picture). This is
ur only chance to hold the monsters off. They fall into the hole, but climb out after some
time. Also the bricks close themselves after about 5 seconds. If u time the dig right u
kill the monster with the closing bricks. BUT....they appear again ontop of the screen to
continue their hunt. Whenu manage to collect all gold in the level u get to the next of
about 100 levels.
Version B lets u play on 2 screens so
every player has his own screen. U can also play on one screen together.
The game features 8 different gamemodes and each mode has loads of levels.
While battling for the gold u are accomanied by superb
sound, great grafix and ultimate intelligent (and hard) leveldesign, as well as goodies
like additional time, hold monsters, powerups, speedups aso.
This game belongs into every collection. Best Loderunner version there is.
