I just LOVE those Konami shooters. Konamis best years imho were between 1985 and 1993. They mustve made a fortune with their arcadegames.
Very innovative ideas in nearly every
game. Salamander features (as one of the first games) the power-up system along with
weaponchange and options. Grafics and sound are excellent for 1986. I still remember
sending a small fortune on this game and somehow i still cant believe it i have it at home
now 
Game is aka as "Lifeforce"
featuring a more biological background grafic. GREATGREATGREAT. A real classic!
