How to build a 4-way control panel

IŽll build one for you if you want. Costs youŽll find in the "Sales&Needs" section.

IŽll discuss a 4-way controller, with 6 buttons (A-F) plus Coin and Start/Select buttons here. Thatfor youŽll need:

* a 13 polar cable (as long as you need it - for color scheme see picture below)
* 8 microswitch buttons (in any color you see fit - iŽd say 4 different colors minimum)
* a 4-way stick (this will also work with 2-, 8- way and LS30 sticks - see below)
* Soldering Utilities.
* (Metallic) Housing for stick + buttons (youŽll get these in every hobby store).

Cut out the holes in the housing for the buttons and the stick (be careful you have place for rotational movement of stick).
Solder the wires to the 8 buttons and the 4 (2 or 8) directions of the stick.
Solder ground throughout Stickdirections, Buttons A-F, Coin and Start button.
Solder one wire (violet in my example) to ground.

Solder other end of 13 polar cable to whatever connector you want. E.g. below is a pc pinconnector used to connect a controller to supergun/mak.

ŽFor LS-30 sticks additional wiring is needed.
For 2-way sticks you only need up/down wiring (11 polar cable), for 8-way youll also need diagonal wiring (17 polar cable).
Ready you are and should look like this:
