First EGO-Action-Shooter EVER id say. Great and funny voice samples (for 1988). New stickmechanism makes turnin 90° a new option. Left/right turn of stick turns u in desired direction, while still moving (eg) straightforward. If u have the pcb only u can wire two normal buttons for turning left and right.
Blast ur way through hordes of robotmonsters, hide behind barrels for cover and find secret entrances to other levels or places. Power ur warrior up in between levels at the item shop, spending the money u found while clearing the level.
Dont even THINK that Atari forgot the steady energydrain from Gauntlet times. OF COURSE its in here but u can slow it down by upgrading ur armor at the shop.
Together with "Vindicators" and "Escape from the Planet of the Robot Monsters" the 3 best Atari games existing (I dont like gauntlet, sorry).
Loads of coins went into this machine...now i own one myself :)
